Classes are taught by a passionate
professional cookie artist who loves sharing
tips, cheering you on, and keeping the awkward moments off the menu - or at least not on you. Each class includes expert guidance with step-by-step visuals, giving you the confidence to create beautiful cookies you’ll be proud to show off (then devour).

Meet the Founder
Hey! I'm Meryl, the cookie-loving pastry
chef behind OH Sugar Cookie Classes.
My journey started in Chicago, where I
graduated from pastry school and worked as a
pastry chef both in the Windy City and here in Columbus. Life whisked in a little extra sweetness when I met my husband in Ohio, and not long after, we moved to Oregon to be closer to my family and welcomed our two beautiful girls.

That’s where my first cookie-decorating business, PDX Sugar Cookie Classes, was born. It quickly became a place for people to laugh, learn, and discover that decorating sugar cookies is way more fun than they ever expected. When our family relocated back to Ohio for my husband’s job, it felt like the perfect moment to bring that same magic here. So, OH Sugar Cookie Classes was created to continue the adventure.
